The more I think about it, the more I convince myself that this is an awesome idea. Then I got distracted (no big surprise). Whatever. The toaster oven was unplugged because Peter installed shiny new GFCI outlets in the kitchen, thus satisfying (more…)

Last Wednesday was my last day at work, and it was a good one, and I don’t really know what else to say about it. I traded for this one, since the prep list was freaking huge and I felt bad inflicting it on the new guy (who had to leave early yesterday, which contributed to the mess I’m about to go wrangle, but then again I actually like prep). I got to Morning Glory a little late, so I didn’t really get any of my prep chores started before opening time, and at 7:30 (yes, AM) the phone rang, and I was within arm’s reach:
“Are you guys open yet?”
— “We’re open 7:30 to 3:30 every day.”
“So can I order some food to go?”
