I know, I know, my Thanksgiving posts have been pretty gloatful, but this weekend’s culinary awesomeness neither began nor ended with Thanksgiving. I already mentioned our little éclair adventure, which for me got things started on Monday night, when I made pastry cream:

My entire goal for today is to get home. I know, it’s a whole other day in a fantastic Asian city, but I also know myself a little, and after a month away from home, I start to get really antsy for it, and I fully expect that this trip will be no different. Here is my plan. (more…)
