Monkey Monday: random RSS recipes edition 21 July 2008 6:15 am

I remembered what else I meant to post about on Saturday night! The wonderful randomness that my RSS feeds bring me, let me share them with you!

First, there was Warren Ellis on cooking steak (hint: “Man cook meat with fire.”) That was July 7. A day later, he clarified his position somewhat:

I do not season steak. Start seasoning steak and before you know it? You’re French.

Good times, even as I admit that I’m more likely to threaten meat with fire than cook it his way.

Nextly, Bunny #1965 expresses my feelings about garlic quite well, AND features a recipe for garlic butter (which, it occurs to me, would make an excellent topping for steak. Hmmmm.

Neither Warren Ellis nor Bunny are tagged “food” in my Google Reader, and yet there they were, contributing to my gastronomic appreciation of the world. Yay!
