		<description>I just ask because you mention it early on, but it doesn&#039;t appear in the write-up.... Honestly, I figure miso can stand on it&#039;s own in soup -- I usually mix the two only in marinades. I am not against it so much as it has never occurred to me.</description>

		<description>My recommendation is to wait with soy sauce until after the soup is served, and add it only to taste.  Different kinds of miso vary so widely in salt content that I don&#039;t feel safe recommending more specific amounts.  But I&#039;ll add a note to the recipe to that effect; thanks for the question!</description>
