Foto Friday: granola, gardens, and my fridge! 11 May 2007 5:48 pm

First and foremost, Caitlin made Tracy granola! She wrote about it (and posted shiny pictures) here. Yay!

Apparently all the cool food blogging kids are posting pictures of their fridges these days, thanks to a challenge by the fabulously named Becks and Posh. I was inspired to participate in the silliness by entries at the Ethicurean and Mental Masala, and also a particularly annoying passage in Coming Home to Eat by Gary Nabham (but my rant about that book will be getting its own entry in the not-too-distant future, oh yes). Anyway, behold:

TracyFridge!

As usual, the picture links to the Flickr page, and even annotated pictures.

Speaking of my Flickr photos, there’s some new pictures of the Urban Farm there, including the lettuce and spinach bed we harvested yesterday and which became salad last night and lentils with spinach this afternoon. Yummity yum yum yum!

Finally, I finished putting in my shallot and artichoke and red bell pepper starts today, and I looove my garden even when I don’t have time to take pictures of the new plants and the Great Lettuce Massacre of 2007 (thinning is hard!) In lieu of the newest TracyGarden developments, here is a picture of me from last Sunday, telling the tomato plants that they are the best in the world and I am soooo proud of them.

Telling the tomato plants I loooooove them.

And on that note, I wish happy weekends to all of you.
