Monkey Monday: boring sleepy edition 30 April 2007 10:51 pm

I wanted to write something clever about all the books I returned to various libraries over the past month, and better still about how I’d even managed to finish quite a few of them. But I worked all weekend, and I’m tired. So it’s a good thing I mostly managed to update my Not Just Cookbooks reading lists on Friday, before I turned into the Amazing Zombie Line Cook.

Readings Present is the books I’m working on right now, plus or minus a few cookbooks since it’s hard to keep track of them (garden books are tricksy in a similar way). It overlaps somewhat with my future reading and past readings lists, and all of them give me a warm fuzzy “yay books!” feeling.

Anyway, if you’re bored or curious about what an obsessive food geek reads, those lists are a good way to kill a few minutes. If any of them sound intriguing enough that you would like to read more, please don’t hesitate to post a comment or Ask TracyFood about them. Later this week I hope to post short summaries and responses to some of these books, to warm myself up to finally writing some longer reviews. But for now I should get some sleep.
