Posted by Tracy in : cheese, cooking, eating, friends, people, pictures, recipes, seasonality, vegan, vegetarian , 3 commentsThe title of this entry comes from Moosewood Restaurant New Classics (yes, it’s my very favorite cookbook) but today my inspiration for lunch came not from Moosewood’s recipe but rather a dish Penny ate at The LocoMotive years ago, and the fact that our housemate the history librarian left most of a bunch of asparagus unattended in the fridge for longer than a day. I know I was bragging about my ability to resist the not-quite-seasonal imported spring veggies just yesterday, but it turns out I am weak after all. Go figure. (more…)
